improve markdown guide

When I'm editing a summary or description there's no guide to the syntax i should use.

- Title changed from “missing guide to markdown syntax” to “improve markdown guide”
Added basic link to edit description box (summary does not currently accept markdown), leaving this bug open because this should be done up nicely and be hosted on the site

ideally i think a little quick reference guide would open up within the edit window itself.

Yeah that would probably be best, the window could slide down.
The syntax is so basic it shouldn't take too much space.
