unable to upload photos!

i've been trying to upload photos to the various CK Choi records. the upload button results in the follow error message:
"We're sorry, but something went wrong.
We've been notified about this issue and we'll take a look at it shortly."

thanks for finding this alex, it looks like there are some recurring permissions errors with the temporary directory that the file uploader is using, i'm attempting to fix this in the deploy script so that we can be confident that this doesn't re-occur after we fix it.

I have made a change to the deploy script which makes this work again, apparently in a reliable manner.
retest periodically.
