map search brings up blank page

when i enter a search string on Safari4beta and press "map" the proper request appears in the URL but it just brings up a completely blank page (without any source code even). I then have to reload the page for it to load properly.

i've now upgraded to safari4.2 and i'm still having the same problem. i'm using OX10.4.11
